Gregor Zorzi (1992, Regensburg) is an architect working across adaptive reuse, open-ended typologies and collaborative planning processes. His work explores how architecture can respond to social, ecological and economic change through the transformation of existing structures and the development of new forms of spatial organisation.

He studied Architecture and Context at OTH Regensburg and worked as a student during a one year stay in Paris with Dominique Perrault Architectes. From 2019 to 2022, he collaborated with Brandlhuber+ / bplus.xyz on a range of projects and competitions, including the new building for the Horst and Gabriele Siedle Art Foundation in Furtwangen, where he was responsible as project manager. Since 2019, he has also been developing architectural projects, reuse strategies and conceptual studies together with David Christl as ZOCH (Studio).

Alongside his independent and collaborative practice, Gregor Zorzi has extensive experience in the development and realisation of complex architectural projects, including large-scale (social) housing and research buildings. As a project leader, he coordinates interdisciplinary planning processes and integrates architectural, technical, organisational and economic requirements throughout the design and construction process.

His approach begins with a close reading of existing conditions, resources and potentials. Rather than treating architecture as a fixed outcome, he is interested in processes that allow projects to evolve through collaboration, negotiation and changing requirements. His work brings together conceptual design and practical project experience to develop robust and adaptable architectural solutions.
